Help Keep Smith County Beautiful...The Annual Martin Luthor King Jr Day of Service will be held Monday. January 18th beginning at 9am at the Smith County Ag Center. Volunteers
will be divided into groups and taken to the clean up sites. All will return at 1pm and will be served lunch. Gloves, trash bags and all equipment for clean up will be provided. For

The Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency will hold a commodities distribution for Smith County on Tuesday, January 26th from 9-11am at the Smith County Ag Center. You
must have a UCHRA Commodity Card in order to receive commodities. Sign Ups will be available during this event. This project is funded under a grant contract with the State of
Tennessee.
UT Extension of Wilson County is currently taking applications for the 2021 Master Gardener Intern Class. Classes will be conducted virtually through Knoxville at the UT

January is 4-H Poster Contest Month. Due to schools being on a hybrid schedule, posters may be turned in to your school's main office by January 21st. Posters will be picked up from

Vol State Community College will be offering an English Composition course Tuesday nights at 6pm beginning on January 19th and an intro into Sociology course Thursday nights at 6pm

UT Extension of Smith County will hold a pair of meetings for the 4-H Homeschool Club in January. The first meeting will be held Monday, January 11th and the 2nd meeting will be held

CASA Volunteers are needed in Smith County. CASA of Smith County will be taking applications for those that wish to help abused and neglected children in our county navigate through the
