You can give the gift of life...The American Red Cross will hold a community blood drive for Smith County on Monday, March 4th from Noon-6pm at the Carthage United Methodist Church in Carthage.  Save time by making your appointment to give blood by going online to www.redcrossblood.org

 

 

Early and Absentee voting for primaries in Smith County will start soon. You can early vote at the Turner Building in Carthage from February 14th - 27th, Monday thru Fridays from 8am - 4pm and on Saturdays from 9am - Noon. They will be open late until 6pm on February 20th and 27th. Voters can also vote at the Gordonsville Civic Center. February 20th from 9am - 6pm and the 21st - 23rd from 9am - 4pm. All voting locations will be closed February 19th

 

Registration is currently underway for Smith County T-Ball for boys and girls ages 4-6. If your child was on T-Ball last season they do not have to re-register. Your child will have to re-register if they are moving up to Coach Pitch. For complete details please call 615-735-1750

The world-famous Harlem Wizards will visit DeKalb Middle School on Thursday, February 29 at 6:00 PM for an evening of great fun and fundraising. The Wizards will play a game against a team of DeKalb County School teachers, principals, SRO’s and community leaders. The event is a fundraiser for DeKalb Middle School.
