The Gordonsville Tiger Booster Club along with the US Army Corp of Engineers are presenting Lights on Long Branch, a drive thru Christmas Lights display, at the Long Branch Camp Ground just below Center Hill Dam on Highway 141. The drive thru will be open November 30th thru December 23rd, Monday thru Thursdays 5-9pm, and Friday thru Sundays from 5-10pm. Admission is $15 per vehicle

UT Extension in Smith County and the Tennessee State University Cooperative Extension will host a Holiday Open House on Wednesday, December 11th, from 10am - 2pm at 67 Cookeville Highway, Suite 102, in Carthage. American Legion Post 57 in Smith County is currently taking monetary donations to help with their holiday toy drive to give gifts to the children of the soldiers of our National Guard Armory who have been deployed overseas.
