The 2nd Harvest Food Mobile Truck will be at the Smith County Ag Center for a food distribution of perishable items on Wednesday, September 9th. Line up will begin at 10am and the truck will remain on-site until all the food is distributed. To learn more about 2nd harvest call 615-735-2093.

The American Red Cross has declared an emergency blood shortage throughout Middle Tennessee as blood supplies in the state are at historic lows. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is reminding residents across Middle Tennessee that black bears are on the move this summer. Black bears have already been sighted in Hickman, Dickson, Wilson and Sumner counties and are expected to migrate into other counties. Residents are encouraged not to approach or feed the bears and report sightings to their local TWRA offices
