The Annual Rotary Pancake Breakfast will be held Friday, October 9th from 6-9:30am and Saturday, October 10th from 7-9:30am at Gordonsville Shoprite.  The cost is $6 per plate and children 4 and under eat free.  Tickets can be purchased ahead of time from any Rotarian.  Proceeds benefit scholarships for local students at Smith County and Gordonsville High Schools.
 
TVA plans an overnight power outage for almost 4,000 UCEMC members served from the Gordonsville substation.  The power interruption will begin at 11pm Saturday, October 3rd and will last up to 6 hours into Sunday morning, October 4th.  The outage is necessary to perform repairs on equipment.  Visit www.ucemc.com for more information about the power outage and the neighborhoods it will affect.
 
 
The US Census Bureau needs your help to understand the impact of COVID-19.  The Census Bureau has an online Household Pulse Survey that will be used to help the Bureau get accurate information about the impact of COVID-19 on employment status, food & household security, education disruptions and physical & mental wellbeing.  To take part in the survey go online to www.covid.census.gov.
