The Smith County High School Soccer Youth Camp will be held
June 3rd, 4th & 5th at the soccer fields at Crump Paris Park from 9am-noon each day. The camp is for players from kindergarten to the 8th grade. Concessions will be available each

Smith County will
be conducting a County wide emergency disaster drill. Smith County Emergency Services and the Smith County School System will conduct this drill on Friday, May 31st at Defeated Elementary
School. Again, this is only a drill.
The annual Trousdale County High School All-class reunion will be held Saturday, June 1st at
Trousdale County High School on McMurry Blvd in Hartsville. Registration will begin at 9:30am in the Trousdale County High School Lobby.
There will be a benefit fundraiser for Potsey Enoch on Saturday, June 8th at the Smith County Ag Center. A motorcycle ride will be held at 11am, a cornhole tournament will be
held at 2:30, a BBQ dinner will be held at 4, a live auction will be held at 5 and music and dancing will begin at 6.
A 4-H Livestock Clinic will be held Tuesday, June 4th from 10am - 2pm at the Smith County Ag Center. There will be hands on training with experts on Cattle, Sheep and
Goats. A showmanship exhibition will be held at 3pm. Lunch will be provided. For more call 615-735-2900.
The Do Re Mi Academy's 2019 Session beings Sunday, June 2nd, with
a program titled "Singing In Harmony & Pursuing Excellence" where students 13 & up stay on campus for intensive gospel music education & training. On-campus and/or commuting
programs for ages 3 and up start Monday, June 10. All programs will be held on the Do Re Mi campus at 275 Cedar Bluff Road, in Hartsville. Call 615-969-2708 for details.
The Smith County High School Cheerleaders will be hosting a Youth Cheer Camp on Saturday, June
1st. For grades K thru 8. The camp will be from 9am-2pm inside the Smith County High School Gym. The cost is $45 per participant and includes lunch and a t-shirt. Forms can be
picked up at SCHS and you must register by May 17th.
You can give the gift of life....The American Red Cross will hold a community blood drive for Smith County on Wednesday, May 22nd from Noon-6pm at Carthage Walmart. To schedule your

The University of Tennessee Extension Service of Smith County will host another Home, Farm & Garden Lunch and Learn seminar at the Smith County Chamber on Wednesday, June 5th
beginning at noon. The title of the seminar is "Food Preservation". The guest speaker will be Michelle Parrot of UT Extension. For details call 615-735-2900.
The Smith County Animal Rescue Organization is a new state registered 501C-3. It's mission is to reduce pet homelessness in Smith County thru their spay and neuter assistance
