The annual Macon County Ghost Hunt weekends will be held Friday and Saturday August 7th and 8th and again on Friday and Saturday September 11th and 12th.  The ghost hunting will take place at the historic Thomas House at 520 East Main Street in Red Boiling Springs and will run throughout the day.  For more information call 1-800-604-9101
 
The Annual Helping Hearts Fundraiser Pageant will be held Saturday, August 29th at the Smith County Ag Center beginning at 10am.  Girls contestants will be separated by age ranging from toddlers to 25 and boy contestants from toddlers to 6 years of age.  All the proceeds will go to the non-profit organization, Waggin Tails Animal Rescue.  For complete details call 615-735-7055.
 
 
The US Census Bureau needs your help to understand the impact of COVID-19.  The Census Bureau has an online Household Pulse Survey that will be used to help the Bureau get accurate information about the impact of COVID-19 on employment status, food & household security, education disruptions and physical & mental wellbeing.  To take part in the survey go online to www.covid.census.gov.

 

Donate now to the Smith County Disaster Relief Fund.  The Smith County Disaster Relief Fund is set up to improve the quality of life of people and families in Smith County who need assistance following a natural disaster or other life altering event.  You can donate at the Smith County Chamber and at the Gordonsville and Carthage offices of Citizen's Bank.
