The Smith County Election Commission Office is currently recruiting individuals who would like to serve as Election Day workers for the 2026 cycle. Registration for upcoming Spring Smith County T-Ball for boys and girls ages 4-6 is currently underway. The registration form can be found in the Carthage Courier. Hartsville Little League baseball wil have sign-ups for the spring baseball season at the Little League concession stand on Jan 17th and 24th for ages 8-10 and on Jan 13th, 15th and 20th for ages 5-7.
